Join our Battle of Long Tan Tour to explore the journey of the past & future, in which you will see side by side what happened and what has changed in the famous battlefield of Long Tan in Phuoc Tuy Province (formerly).
Visit Long Phuoc Tunnels, where Operation Enogerra took place.
Stand on Nui Dat – where Delta Company of the Australian army put their base.

Long Tan - Nui Dat Battle Field (full day trip) - TNK Travel

Itinerary:

1/ Customize Pick-up time - from 7:00am-9:00am

Driver and Tour Guide of Peace Travel will pick you up and depart to Ba Ria City on a 2-hour drive. On the way, we will have a stop at local rest stop and stretch your legs.

2/ Hòa Long Village & Long Tan Memorial Cross - 10:00

We’ll continue on to the Long Tan Cross, the most emotional part of the tour. With flowers and incense, we’ll perform a ritual ceremony to show our respect and commemorate both the Australian and Vietnamese soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the war.

3/ Nui Dat (SAS Hill) - the former 1st Australian Task Force. - 10:30

Next, we’ll arrive in Nui Dat, or SAS Hill, the former base of the Australian Army. Then we’ll drive to Luscombe Airfield, which has been preserved in a small village. Our guide will tell you the stories associated with this significant site.

4/ Long Phuoc Tunnels - 11:00

Then, we’ll head to the Long Phuoc Tunnels, a 1.4km tunnel system where our guide will tell fascinating stories that illustrate the life of the Viet Cong during the wartime.

5/ Optional Lunch - 13:00 - Not Included

Come back to Ba Ria City, we will have lunch at a restaurant to try local specialty including some seafoods. We can customize based on your special dietary requirements.

6/ At the end of the tour, we drive you back to Sài Gòn - 14:00 - 17:00.

The adventure is over, it is time to heading back to HCMC and drop you off at your hotel at around 3:00pm.
