Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival

     Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City late in the evening. Welcome and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City

     Full day sightseeing tour in Ho Chi Minh City. Sightseeing today includes French colonial downtown with Dong Khoi Street, the City Hall (seeing from outside), Saigon Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. Pass a large park to arrive the Reunification Palace (former Presidential Palace). Get inside for a guided tour. After lunch visit the War Remnants Museum. Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Phnom Penh

     Transfer to airport for a short flight to Phnom Penh (Vietnam Airlines 1225/1315). Afternoon visit the National Museum of Khmer Arts. Next stop Silver Pagoda on the same grounds of the Royal Palace. Short walk around Wat Phnom. Accommodation at hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 4: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap

     In the morning we go to Toul Sleng Prison Museum and then Independent Monument. Then it is time to transfer to airport for departure to Siem Reap (Siem Reap Air 1105/1155). Arrive Siem Reap airport, meet and transfer to hotel. Afternoon we visit magnificent Angkor Wat to view its architecture and bas-relief. Sunset from the summit of Phnom Bakheng. Accommodation at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 5: Siem Reap

     Visit the highlights of the petit circuit, including Prasat Kravan, The Royal Bathing Pond of Sra Srang, Banteay Kdei, and jungle-clad Ta Prohm. Continue to visit Pre Rup, East Mebon. Dinner with charming Apsara dance show. Accommodation at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 6: Siem Reap

     Early trip to Angkor Wat to watch sunrise, continuing north to visit the elegant temple of Banteay Srei and the riverbed carvings of Kbal Spean. After lunch visit the sites of Angkor Thom and continue to visit Victory Gate, the Bayon. Next stop is Baphuon, Phimean Akas, Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Accommodation at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 7: Siem Reap – Vientiane

     Transfer to Airport for departure flight to Vientiane. Arrive Wattay Airport, meet and transfer to hotel. Visit some famous religious museums including Wat Sisaket, Wat Prakeo the reserved house of Emerald Buddha, Thatluang Stupa, and Patuxay Monument the arch of triumph and the Mekong riverside at sunset. Accommodation at hotel in Vientiane.

Day 8: Vientiane – Luang Prabang

     Transfer to airport and fly to Luang Prabang. Transfer to hotel. Visit the city and its most beautiful temples as Wat Visoun, Wat Aham and Wat Mai. Then climb up to the top of mount Phousi to explore the sacred, gilded stupa as well as have a beautiful view of the city and the Mekong River at sunset. Explore the Night Market, where you can browse a lovely section of handmade textiles made by the local people and hill tribes surrounding Luang Prabang. Accommodation at hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 9: Luang Prabang

     An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (often in the form of sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only nation still preserving this procession. After breakfast v isit Wat Xiengthong, then traditional boat trip upstream on the Mekong river to visit the famous caves of Pak Ou. Afternoon free or optional program to local village of Lao ethnic minority groups then drive to beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall. Take a dip in the inviting pools or walk along the forest trails surrounding the waterfall. Return to the city by late afternoon to watch sunset at Wat Siphouthabath. Accommodation at hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 10: Luang Prabang – Hanoi

     Visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace. Then a brief visit to the Central market. Transfer to airport for departure flight to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport, meet and transfer to hotel. Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 11: Hanoi

     City tour of a 1000 years old capital. This tour includes President Ho Chi Minh Memorial complex, Temple of Literature, the Museum of Vietnam History. Lunch with ‘cha ca La Vong’ at Hanoi’s Old Quarter. After lunch walking tour for some further exploration. Night train at 9:00pm to Sapa. Accommodation on train.

Day 12: Sapa

     Arrive at Lao Cai railways station early in the morning then transfer to Sapa (1 hour), home to numerous colorful hill tribes (Black H'mong, Flower H'mong, Red Dao) and to Vietnam’s highest peak: Mount Fansipan. Breakfast on arrival just after check-in. Afternoon, visit the Thac Bac waterfalls and walk to Ham Rong Mountain where you will visit an orchid garden and admire the beautiful panorama of Sapa. Back to Sapa town and visit its local market. Accommodation at hotel in Sapa.

Day 13: Sapa -Light trekking to minority village

     Breakfast at hotel. Full day discovery of minority villages located in Sapa Valley. Road to Lao Chai and then trekking (2km) through the rice fields to visit a traditional Black H’Mong house and then continue trekking to Tavan village (2km) to visit a Giay minority village. Enjoy picnic lunch on the way and then walking through the bamboo forest till Giangtachai, a Red Dzao village. Your driver will be waiting for you at Giangtachai village and bring you back to hotel. Accommodation at hotel in Sapa.

Day 14: Sapa & night train back to Hanoi

     Your morning free in town of Sapa, to go walking around, visit more villages nearby or to go shopping. Transfer to Lao Cai Station for the night train back to Hanoi. Accommodation on train.

Day 15: Hanoi - Halong Bay of the World Heritage

     Arrival from Sapa in the early morning. Drive overland to Halong City. On the way visit the four-floor But Thap pagoda . After lunch transfer to Ha Long City. Hotel check in on arrival. Accommodation at hotel in Halong City.

Day 16: Ha Long - Hanoi

     After breakfast, boarding for a 4-hour cruise through the mystical Ha Long Bay, and admire one of the natural marvels of Vietnam. Visit islets, natural caves and if weather permits, enjoy a swim into the clear waters of the Titov beach. Lunch with local delicious seafood on board. Return to Hanoi later in the afternoon. Accommodation at hotel Hanoi.

Day 17: Hanoi – Hue the former Royal Capital

     Transfer to airport for a short flight to Hue. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit the Imperial Citadel. Dinner with royal court menu. Accommodation at hotel in Hue.

Day 18: Hue – Hoi An

     Boat-cruise on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda and Tomb of King Minh Mang. Afternoon drive overland to Danang via the Hai Van Pass, stop at Lang Co Beach. Visit Cham Museum and continue to Hoi An. Accommodation at resort in Hoi An.

Day 19: Hoi An

     Full day exploring Hoi An (formerly Faifo), a trading port where Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese merchant vessels frequently called at between 16th-17th centuries. Survived through time and wars, the well preserved beauties of Hoi An ancient town lies not in a grandeur flashy style but deep in each of its winding streets, each of its narrow and unexpected alleys… Walking tour to explore the treasures of the ancient town, with some shopping later on: red-painted Japanese covered bridge and the former merchants’ wood houses, Chinese communal house and temples, art and craft shops (tailor-made clothing, paintings, woodcarving, ceramics, lanterns, etc.). Lunch and dinner with local delicacies: ‘cao lau’ noodle, Hoi An white rose, etc. Accommodation at resort in Hoi An.

Day 20: Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An

     Half day trip to My Son. Visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, located 40km southwest of Hoi an, in a lush green valley, with dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. Back to Hoi An for lunch. In the afternoon free for self exploration or relaxing on Cua Dai Beach, one of the most beautiful beach in Central Vietnam. Accommodation at resort in Hoi An.

Day 21: Hoi An – Nha Trang – Whale Island

     Transfer to Danang for a flight to Nha Trang. Pick up at Cam Ranh airport and road transfer about 60km. Then you will take a 2-hour boat trip to the Whale Island. Accommodation at Whale Island Resort: You will lodge in huts on pillars equipped with bathrooms and fans.

Day 22: Whale Island

     Relax on nearby white sandy beaches surrounded by transparent water, coral and coconut trees. Numerous activities available: catamaran, sail board, canoe and diving. Or discover wild life that abounds on the island. Enjoy fresh sea food delivered every morning after the fishing of the night: swordfish, barracuda, grouper, tuna, crab, shrimps and shellfish. Accommodation at Whale Island resort.

Day 23: Whale Island

     Another day to relax and discover the tropical island. Accommodation at Whale Island resort.

Day 24: Nha Trang – Ho Chi Minh City

     Nha Trang city excursion. After breakfast check out for boat transfer and overland drive to Nha Trang City. First you will drive you to Cau Da for a visit to Vietnam Oceanographic Institute established in 1923. After that, you will go to Long Son Pagoda with great Buddha in lotus sitting. Panorama view from top of hill. The tour ends after the visit to local Dam Market. Transfer to Cam Ranh airport for a one-hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 25: Cao Dai Temple & Cu Chi Tunnel

     Departure to Tay Ninh and discover the Holy See Temple, which reflects the original Caodai religion. Lunch at a local restaurant with the renowned local dish ‘banh trang phoi suong’ and ‘banh canh Trang Bang’. In the afternoon, transfer to Cu Chi tunnels, an incredible underground network built by Vietnamese guerrilla during Vietnam war. Back to the hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner in style at Indochine Vietnamese restaurant to explore the true light cuisine of Asia. ccommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 26: Mekong Delta discovery: Ho Chi Minh City - CaiBe – CanTho

     Departing Ho Chi Minh City and head south to Cai Be. On arrival boarding a boat for a journey through the local floating market. Cruise through the secluded canals to an island where you stop to enjoy seasonal fruits and lunch break before the boat takes you to Vinh Long . Continue by coach to CanTho - the heart of the Mekong Delta. Accommodation at hotel in Can Tho.

Day 27: Can Tho – Chau Doc

     An early start for a 3-hour boat cruise to Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating markets. Coach drive to Chau Doc with a stop over at a stork garden near Thot Not. Late afternoon hike up to Sam mountain with its panoramic view over the vast plains into Cambodia. Accommodation at hotel in Chau Doc.

Day 28: Chau Doc - Ho Chi Minh City

     A boat trip to visit the floating fish breeding farms reveals the amazing highlight of Chau Doc, a Cham minority village, whom still again employment from traditional weaving. The last stop in Chau Doc is to a local Islamic Mosque. Lunch at local restaurant before going back to Ho Chi Minh City. Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 29: Ho Chi Minh City

     Free at your leisure for self exploration or shopping. Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 30: Ho Chi Minh City Departure

     Transfer to Tan Son Nhat International airport for homebound flights. End of tours.
