Sapa, located in Lao Cai province, 350 km from Hanoi, close to the border with China, lies at the altitude of about 1,600m and is home to a great diversity of ethnic minority people. Most of them live in small villages and hamlets scattering in valleys and mountains throughout the district and fix their market day on a certain day.

Day 1: Ha Noi - Lao Cai
8pm: Pick up at your hotel & transfer to the raiway station. O/N on train.
Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa - Cat Cat
Arrive at Lao Cai Train station at about 6.30am- Bus pick up & transfer to Sapa- Breakfast and relax before exploring Sapa Town. In the afternoon, take a 2km short trekking to Cat Cat Village, home of Black Hmong Ethnic people. Back to Sapa, walk to visit the church & the permanent market. O/N at hotel in Sapa
Day 3: Sapa - Lao Chai & Ta Van Villages - Ta Phin
8am: Jeep pick up at your hotel to visit Black Hmong at Lao Chai San and Lao Chai. Trekking tour around Lao Chai village and continue to Dzay Village in Ta Van. Trek back to main road and the jeep takes you back to Sapa town for lunch.
PM: Bus pick up to visit Ta Phin village, home of the Red Dzao, 10km from Sapa. Trek in the village. Return to Sapa. O/N at hotel in Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa - Ethnic Market - Lao Cai
6am: pick up at your hotel and transfer to a weekly market to visit one of the colorful tribal markets near Sapa. The schedule as follow:
Tuesday: Coc Ly tribal market
Thursday: Muong Khuong Market
Saturday: Can Cau Market
Sunday: Bac Ha or Muong Hum Market
PM: Short walk to Ban Pho village, home of the FLower Hmong to see their daily lives. Bus transfer back to Lao Cai, stop at the sino-vietnamese border. Dinner at Lao Cai before board on train to Ha Noi.
Day 5: Hanoi
Arrive at Hanoi at about 6am. Breakfast. End of services
